It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

I am not a huge fan of Halloween.....I think once my sons got too old to sew costumes for, it just lost all it's fun!! So, I have moved on to Christmas. This is my first project so far. A sweet, sugary, glittery village. The roof and shutters are a gorgeous pink, and the houses are a lovely shade of green. I found pink mica flakes online, and they make the roof look good enough to eat!The largest house is my favorite, of coarse it is....just look at the adorable snowman and deer. eek...I love them...
I still need to add door knobs, and add the lights to the back, but I couldn't wait to share.
I added the icicles....and don't you just love this sweet deer??
The glittery snowman is so cute!!!
I have everyone has a lovely day.....check back later for more Christmas goodies!

absolutely delightful! love the pink mica - I've never seen that before. Now I have to go play google for awhile LOL.
How did you make those wonderful icicles?!
I have a whole village of antique - well, at least, vintage - Putz houses that I've stopped using ...maybe I should dig them out this year!
You have inspired me!

Hi Valarie,
Really cute! My favorite holiday is Halloween, so you know how I feel. What would we do without being able to find stuff on line like mica flakes. How cool!!
Baby is still breech, so I think there is a C-section in my daughter's future.
Chat soon,

Valarie,
Your killing me, Christmas! (take a deep breathe Amada) Okay, these are adorable. Love the pink mica. I just saw it for sale on another blog and was looking to order it. I often see these old houses and think about altering them in some way. Maybe I will do something myself this year, oh Ya!, paint them black for Halloween! Kind regards sweetie,
Amada

Hi Valarie,

I can't seem to see your email on your blog, or find your email about our Halloween swap in my mailbox.I must be blind! Could you email me your address?(...and I will do the same).

I will be getting it out after this weekend. Running a little late because I start teaching a Russian class at the local community college tomorrow, and must be very prepared.

Sorry for the delay.
Thanx:) Lydia

If you are not a fan of Halloween than why did you do the tag swap. Your tag sucked and I could of lived without it. Next time try to sign up for something your good at. It's not fair to the other participants. Enough said.

Wow, must not have very much going on in your life if you have to get on someone's blog to leave an mean message about a little halloween tag WITHOUT LEAVING YOUR NAME! Get a life.
