Pink Playroom

Happy Pink Saturday!! Once again the lovely Beverly has included me in this fun day. I decided that since I showed off my Pink Room last week, I should show you the closet in that room!! We turned it into a very cute little play area for the Grand babies. I still need to wallpaper, and add some decor, but it's pretty darn cute. You can see that the table is all set with pink princess dishes.
The refrigerator holds plenty of goodies for the kids to "eat"...
I love the retro look of the stove/sink!
The picture above the piano was made by my Grandpa!! (If you click on the picture you can see all the detail of the stitch work that he did)...
What playroom would be complete without a grand piano??
My Grandma made me this rug when I was 7 years old. I think it's held up quite nicely over the years.
Be sure and stop by Beverly at How Sweet the Sound and visit the other wonderful participants.

I hope you have a lovely day. xxoo Valarie

OMGosh!!! That pink playroom is absolutely adorable!!! What lucky grandkids you have!

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment! To answer your question...Tatting is easy once you learn it. It's just the learning of the double-stitch that is challenging to learn. Once you learn it, it's easy! Most people say it is challenging to learn from a book. That's why I'm offering a giveaway! The giveaway includes a book that comes with a DVD that shows how to manipulate the thread in order to tat! Be sure to come on over and join in!

so much pink fabulousness! I love it! Pink is my favourite colour. It wasn't always the case, but then I became a mum to a little girl (now three) and pink became THE colour to have!

Loving the decorated toilet seat! Inspired! I wonder what my husband would say if he came home from work and found I'd done that to the downstairs loo? Probably just roll his eyes and think 'she's at it again', I'm always changing little things so when he comes home things are slightly different. This week it could well be the kitchen table, but I need to build my nerve up for that one. :O)

ooh, Laduree macaroons. They are on my list of things to try. I wanted to order some last year from Harrods for my birthday, but just as I was about to order some our postmen went on strike so they macaroons would have gone yukky in the post. Typical of my luck! ha ha ha.

Thank you so much for stopping by, and for your incredible compliment. You are so kind.

I will return! And I love the idea of Pink Saturday. :O)
