I went to the Paris Street Market this past Saturday, and my sweet friend Shanon had this amazing wallpaper. She had purchased it at an Estate Sale...she said that the shed was filled to the rafters with roll after roll of paper. However, before she could grab too much, a man walked in and said that he was from a Museum, and that he wanted to purchase the entire lot. I guess she was lucky to get what she got. I'm even luckier, because she sold it all to me. Look at how amazing some of it is. It all appears to be hand painted...with the exception of one roll. I checked the name that was written on the sides of the paper, and it is from a company that was founded in 1892. Most of it is borders....
This might be my favorite....the top is white, and fades into a gorgeous pink, and then red!!
This one is probably from the 40's....but it's cute as a button.
So, now I have to figure out what to do with it. I need to make something that is over the top, and will showcase the beauty of these. Any ideas???
Have a lovely day.
